The wider screen makes the game much easier, and additions like Hidden Palace Zone being finished and playable, Tails having the ability to fly, and making Knuckles playable are all great bonuses. I do, however, have to criticize the abundance of ads. Sure, almost any mobile game has them, but they're all over the place in the menus, taking up most of the screen. Even with that however, this is a great port.
