Let me take this opportunity to correct some wrong notion about healing and miracles, especially during this #Covid19 pandemic where many are taking shots at the things of God. Let me start by saying that God is God and His ways are beyond our understanding, (Romans 11:33).

So, these things don’t work like that. You can only go when God sends you, (Romans 10:15). So, the gifts of the Holy Spirit don’t operate like magic. God has to direct you.And it is important to know that it is not every man of God or pastor who has the gift of healing or miracles. There are many gifts the Holy Spirit gives but it’s just that many focus on healing and miracles, (1 Corinthians 12:4-10).
One of the things I like about Pastor Mensah Otabil is that he knows his calling is teaching the Word of God, so He focuses and uses that very well.Many people try to use logic to understand the things of God and that’s where the mistake starts from. And it is true that there are false teachers and false prophets around (Ezekiel 13; Matthew 24:24; 2 Peter 2:1), but they don’t take away from God. Gold dragon ring. In fact, it rather goes to prove that God is God, because He has warned us about false prophets and teachers in the Bible and we are seeing many around.Finally, the church of God is not called to go and heal every sickness or disease out there. God is still in the business of healing and performing miracles and will continue to use people to heal and perform miracles during and after this coronavirus pandemic. The church of God is called to proclaim the good news of salvation, which is in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus never said there won’t be suffering in this world. In fact, He said in this world “you will have tribulations”, (John 16:33).
Our mandate as Christians remain: “ Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:15-16). So, to those of you who have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, this moment right now is the time to do it. It is not about religion. It is about a personal relationship with our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.

Remember, it’s a personal decision and we will all stand before the judgement seat of God and account for what we did while on earth for “ It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”, (Hebrews 9:27). Don’t postpone your salvation!
