Uber Tier List

The way that this will work is the same way school works A - F Tier, 'A' Tier is the best ranking and 'F' Tier is the worst.

For The Battle Cats POP! On the 3DS, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'How many cats are there in this game?'

There's many factors that goes into the ranking but the major factors that goes into the decision of tiers are stats, how good they do their job, and if there's other ubers that do the same job but better, and of course there's going to be personal opinion in there. Also I'm going to rank 48 ubers the 48 ubers that I have because they're the ones i have personal experiences with them and ranking cats i don't have is pretty unfair. I will update this post to have more cats as i get more ubers in the near future. (Last updated, November 29th, 2017)

Lemme just repeat this, I'm only ranking ubers that I have so before you go asking where a certain uber is, just have a little think after reading this. Also, everything that has (NEW) next to it was recently added or updated in the list.

Now with all of that out of the way these are all the ubers on this list.

That was the list and now I'm going to try to justify my placement of these ubers so you guys wouldn't get upset and ban me.

A Tier

These ubers are the best of the best it hardly ever is a bad idea to bring these along.

Aphrodite has the long range and does fairly decent damage and is most of the time it isn't a bad idea to bring her along for her snipes.

Tropical Kalisa is the best at what she does killing red enemies. She has the highest Anti-Red damage in the game and her fast speed will basically guarantee a hit with addition to that her recharge time is pretty quick as well.

Togeluga is godly at staying safe, the 100 knockbacks it stays out of enemy range but as well there's the surviving 1 hit guaranteed basically forcing it to trigger the strengthen ability and cannot be 1 shotted but let's talk about the strengthen ability it triggers at 99% Heath and TRIPLES it's attack. It's hardly ever a bad idea to bring it along.

Warlock & Pierre (W&P) might be useless in certain levels but offers lots of cheese potential able to cheese many stages and while his TF is pretty limited it does good damage and is immune to all effects except shockwaves.

B Tier

These ubers are better than average, if they're affective against the enemies you're going to want to bring these along

Grateful Crane is pretty good but has pretty notable weaknesses such as his 10 second attack animation making him miss most of the time and his fast speed makes him get in enemy range. But he's gonna live a long life if you manage to keep him out of enemy range.

Lesser Demon cat is a good cat but his range and speed is less than satisfactory but of course this cat does have the highest DPS in the game with and incredibly short recharge time for a strong uber and that saves this cat from being completely useless.

Windy is a great anti-floating uber she kills bunbuns of all types quickly and effectively. The only bad side to her is her attack rate and attack animation but she packs a good punch.

Raiden and Thundia are together in this list because i feel like they're both interchangeable, they both do good at their jobs but Thundia is more damage dealing while Raiden is more of a buffer and is able to deal with Berserkory better.

Urashima Taro is a pretty bad spam unit but a beastly tank unit. True form has the highest HP in the game but he suffers from poor attack rate and speed.

Mekako is a wierd unit where as she has multiple roles but of course generally she's really good at killing aliens with her 'Massive Damage' effect and her 100% slow in True form.

Kalisa is down here because she's not as effective against angels like Tropical Kalisa is effective against reds because Kalisa gets outranged by the stronger angel enemies like, Sunfish Jones, slepnir.

Takeda Shingen is a pretty good anti black & alien uber while it gets outclassed by Mad Doctor Klay (W&P TF) in the anti alien side but is pretty good for killing black.

Splendid Ganesha is a pretty good, the reason he's here instead of A Tier is because he gets outranged by many enemies like master A where Aphrodite doesn't get outranged.

Kuu is pretty good with strong attack power and immunity to weaken in TF however she does lack in attack speed where she's left out in the open ready to be attacked. Her immunity of weaken isn't a significant factor because only 1 red enemy weakens and that enemy is only in a single event stage and no black enemy weakens.

Kachi-Kachi is a fairly decent spam unit and TF is a great support unit. He might not have the highest attack but he doesn't need to because his job is to weaken the aliens and angels so your cats live longer.

Mighty Drednot is a great zombie killer and fairs pretty well against reds as well but his attack rate is left to be more favorable but he does make zombie stages a lot more tolerable.

Ice cat is a fairly great support cat being able to perma-freeze with cat combos. Only downside is that she's hard to spam out compared to ICat.

Marauder Cat TF is the best metal killing uber out there having a 50% chance of critical hitting and an immunity to knockback he's killing Super Metal Hippoes pretty well. The only downside of this cat depends on how terrible your luck is.

Yukimura is like the second Bahamut and it could be very valuable in certain situations. Yukimura may have lower base damage from A. Bahamut but Yukimura does have higher damage than A. Bahamut against blacks making him useful against the Director Kurosawah and Le'noir

Bora is the best one of the pixies damage wise and it does have good survivability in 2nd form because of it's resistance and in my opinion can even rival Mad Doctor Klay on how efficient he is but of course W&P is still better because of how versatile he is but Bora can keep up with him when it comes to busting aliens.

Mizli is a master when it comes to alien stalling because she guarantees a knockback and slow in 2nd form. Although she doesn't have the same power as bora she goes as great support the only issue is that she might cause units to miss attacks.

C Tier

These are the average ubers. Not the best but also not the worst these will carry for a good while.

Spooky Thundia is a fine anti black but without the TF that normal Thundia has she's easily killable and but still does good damage.

Seashore Kai is a great zombie tank and a pretty bad black tank. She doesn't have a TF so that cripples her a bit because she doesn't last long against black enemies but will stall and kill zombies perfectly fine.

Nekoluga in TF is a good support cat being able to knockback and freeze and decent range but is able to be killed off easily with only 1 knockback and low health

Asiluga TF is a good support cat with it's insane range and 100% chance to slow. But is easily killed.

Mighty Rekon Corps is a jack of all trades cat but the catch is that it doesn't attack white enemies in exchange for the zombie killer ability. High DPS but no other distinct abilities. Being a jack of all trades it doesn't surpass in stats of other ubers that specialize in a single type.

Gao is going to need a lot of explanation just so that you guys don't kill me over this decision. Gao is just a very average cat it's the 'Jack of all trades' of all 'Jack of all Trades' he has pretty low damage, average attack speed, health. The only thing he surpasses in is survivability because of the immunity to shockwaves but Shishilan also is good at surviving and has higher damage to to all enemies and he just doesn't deliver in damage in later SOL where some of the other jack of all trades cats deliver these reasons are why Gao is in C Tier. Doesn't mean he's bad he's just average.

Midsummer Rabbit is just a support cat and can be useful. Her first form is better because of the 100% slow. Other than that she has high range.

Coppermine isn't the weakest link in the galaxy gals uber set in my opinion. She has uses to stall and can be effect against most cyclones and bunbun minis but, sanzo is just a better alternative and her immunity to freeze is pretty much useless.

Yoshimoto is a nice long ranged unit and descent support in levels with lots of black enemies because of his weaken effect leaving your cats being able to stay alive longer but of course he gets outclassed by Aphrodite but he can be used in a similar way.

Anubis is a decent anti shockwave cat with the zombie killer ability being both useful in shockwave hell stages and zombie stages and an immunity to slow but he lacks damage. still fairly decent tho.

Kenshin is an unusual oddball because she has the knockback ability against the enemy type who has a large amount of natural knockbacks. She has high DPS and keeps black enemies at bay for a bit if she doesn't get overrun.

Kai has a simple use, BROLLOW WALL not really anymore uses than that but because of this she carries a few of the harder stages in the game.

Sarukani is a decent spam unit for angels and zombies but of course this cat's evolved form was made for Daboo of the dead but of course can be effective in other stages.

Amaterasu is the most known glass cannon she has high DPS to colored enemies but of course she's not good in shockwave levels.

Akira is a special cookie because in his TF he gets outclassed pretty heavily by other ubers in this list like Shishilan and W&P but his second and first forms are useful on their own because first form has good chances to freeze and second form has good DPS

Kamukura has similar issues that Vars has and it's that he doesn't kill in later SOL stages. Kamukura is fairly decent support but tries desperately to be an attacker and in it being able to be both it's just in the middle not surpassing in one or the other and leaves him forgotten in very late SOL. he does have more use than Vars tho because he knocksback and slows reds instead of blacks so useful in stages like manic/crazed axe.

Megidora has the same issues as Vars and Kamukura which is that knockback and it hinders him because most floating enemies are front lines and whlie it can keep them away they can also be put in closer to srong long ranged enemy's range like Nyandam. Also sanzo is a better alternative than megidora because he has no chance of knockback and outranges all rush floating types.

NEW

Aer is the weakest link but definitely not the worst uber out there, he's unique because he attacks the quickest of the three and can snipe enemies at a max distance of 650 and being able to break shields and has a good amount of health because of his resistance against aliens but of course he does lack damage and in stacks can be a force to be reckoned with.

D Tier

These ubers are useful to some extent but are pretty subpar, uses of these are few and far between.

Zeus is pretty useless as gamereon outclasses him by a lot as a tank but does have use in 'No Plan A' and very few levels as well.

Poseidon is a very weird uber when i comes to being useful. He helps on zombie stages to some extent but not very in metal stages because no critical hits so he's just the buffer outside of those stages no use at all.

Vars is only good in black stages but does do a good job of being a buffer but bad stats in killing potential. Also gets outclassed by other ubers.

Twinstars are a weird duo pretty weak against blacks because they miss most of their attack and are too close ranged to survive long against aliens and aren't worth the cost to send them out.

Sea Maiden Ruri is a support cat and basically the Uber Rare version of Sushi Cat but without the area attack and the incorporation of multi hit, and single target multi hit cat aren't winning any awards at best she's a decent anti red support for berserkory.

F Tier

These ubers are bad in majority of situations.

Kubiluga is bad because it's stats are pretty bad. He has shockwaves with knockbacks that does 850 damage AT LEVEL 30. Slow attack rate and animation not to mention pretty trash health.

Date Masamune is pretty bad heavily outclassed by Raiden or Kenshin and bad in both usefulness and stats nothing else to say.
